Last December and January we travelled through the mountains, investigated various towns and cities then decided we'd like to come back to the Cotacachi, Otavalo, Ibarra and Atuntaqui area. We arrive December 4th and stay until March 4th - a 3 month visit.

A warm arrival home :-(
We followed the brutal winter weather from afar in Ecuador but it was a different thing to arrive home to see the magnitude of snow and feel how very cold it truly was!
