Yesterday we went to Atuntaqui and visited Chris Marrone and his sister Nicole. They are renting a 4 bedroom, 2 story brand new home for $250.00 / month.

When we were leaving we found someone tied a donkey up outside Chris' door.
Sleeping dogs are everywhere, they appear drugged!
A group of us went for a Mexican buffet last evening. All you can eat for $7.99 which includes wine / beer or coca-cola.
A strange poster at the bus stops all over town. It appears that Ecuador and Colombia have teamed up for a day (Feb.6) of Tsunami preparation.
Strange because at 8,000 ft. above sea level it would be a very large wave!
